What is AquaPy bayer?

AquaPy insecticide is a virtually odourless non-flammable water-based insecticide that contains 30g/l natural pyrethrins synergised with piperonyl butoxide.

What is the active ingredient in Aquapy?

Aquapy insecticide bayer contains the active ingredient Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium previously called Pyrethrin. The substance is derived from a perennial plant and is commonly used as an insecticide and fumigant.

AquaPy insecticide usage

AquaPy products can be distributed as a spray indoors and outdoors and applied on surfaces to eliminate an extensive variety of insects.

You must always apply AquaPy products safely and read the aquapy label thoroughly before use. Insecticide application must be made with caution and you should always pay close attention to the risks and follow all recommended safety precautions.

Directions for use indoors

AquaPy bayer can be used in residential or commercial buildings to eliminate pest infestations caused by crawling and flying insects.

You should follow these steps when using AquaPy products indoors:

• Close windows and doors and turn off ventilation systems and then wait at least 30 minutes spraying AquaPy insecticide.
• Always shake the container thoroughly before dispensing AquaPy.
• Spray AquaPy insecticide evenly throughout the affected area.
• Apply AquaPy directly to areas identified as insect nests or shelters.
• You should re-apply AquaPy insecticide as frequently as required. Treatment once a week should be sufficient, although large infestations may require a more regular application.

Directions for use outdoors

AquaPy insecticide is often used to kill crawling and flying insects found in outdoor sites such as landfills, playing fields, and agricultural areas.

You should consider the following before distributing AquaPy outdoors:

• The best conditions for distributing AquaPy outdoors tend to be in the early morning or late afternoon and evening when weather conditions are likely to be still.
• Make sure that you shake the AquaPy container thoroughly before use.
• If you are using AquaPy insecticide to eliminate a wasps nest, then spray the product liberally to the nest’s entrance. You should apply treatment when wasp activity is low, which is usually early evening.

Directions for use as a surface spray

AquaPy can be used to eliminate crawling insects found on fabrics, bags, and other surfaces e.g. in warehouses or food storage facilities.

Make sure that you spray sufficient AquaPY insecticide to dampen insects visible on the surface. Pay special attention to any crevices where insects could be hiding. You can reapply AquaPy surface spray as often as required.

The effectiveness of AquaPy treatment on surfaces will depend on several factors including the rate used, surface type, moisture levels, temperature, and so on.

Directions for use on wasps nests

Spray directly onto the nest and entrance holes until the nest is saturated with liquid.

For safety reasons, carry out the treatment at dusk or other times when wasp activity around the nest is minimal.

Directions for use on solid waste management

AquaPy bayer should be used in solid waste management programmes in line with good management practices e.g. regular infilling of refuse to a minimum depth of 225 mm.

Apply AquaPy to new tip surfaces as they are built and repeat treatments as necessary.

How to store AquaPy

AquaPy insecticide must be stored in its original container and kept in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated location.

Only allow authorised persons to access AquaPy products (those with a certified training certificate) and keep the container away from direct sunlight.
